Cost of Meals
Our cost is approximately $5.50 per meal however, for those 60 years of age or older or to handicapped adults age 18-59 we suggest a contribution of $3.00 or whatever you can give towards this $5.00 cost. Spouses of these individuals are also eligible for meals at the suggested $3.00 contribution. Cost for those under 60 years of age is $5.00 per meal. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

How To Get Service
To become a participant of home-delivered meals please contact the site director. A representative of the Center will visit you, explain the program and get you started.
To become a participant at the Center just visit us any day for lunch. Client Registration Forms are available at the front desk.

How Are We Funded?
The Palmyra Nutrition Center is a non-profit organization supported by meal contributions, private donations, the Northeast Area Agency on Aging, The Mark Twain Area United Way Agency, and various grants.



What Is A Volunteer?
Volunteers are the heart of our program. They assist us with meal deliveries and food preparation.

OUR MISSION!
To provide hot meals for the elderly age 60 and over and the handicapped residence age 18-59 in a congregate setting or by delivery to home bound residents.

WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
Our goal is to be a "home away from home" by providing food, information and referral, socialization, educational and recreational activities to the elderly and handicapped adults in Palmyra and the surrounding area. The main objective is to allow seniors and handicap adults to remain active and independent in their homes thus preventing their premature institutionalization.
